Our online therapists are all professionally registered Counsellors who offer online therapy using Skype or Zoom. With online counselling, you can access a qualified and experienced psychologist or counsellor using Skype technology. Your Skype or Zoom appointment will be conducted just like a face-to-face session - you will be able to see, hear and interact with your counsellor ‘virtually’ for the length of the session. Counsellors at Flourish@Life are adept at both face-to-face and online counselling. Online Counselling with Flourish@Life counsellors provides you with a convenient way for you to access counselling without needing to travel to appointments.
All you need is a computer, a reliable internet service, and a private uninterrupted space in which to hold your counselling session.
Online Counselling or Therapy using Zoom or Skype is convenient for people that have difficulty travelling to appointments often due to distance/remoteness, mobility problems, anxiety issues that prevent you from leaving your home, parents with child minding commitments or simply those with a busy work and travel schedule.
Common problems such as sadness, worry, anxiety, stress, grief, life direction, relationship issues, parenting concerns are all suitable for online counselling or Skype or Zoom therapy.
Online counselling whereby people interact with a counsellor through Skype or Zoom technology can often help people feel less inhibited and more forthright during their counselling sessions. Of particular use, online counselling can help people who may be experience feelings of shame or embarrassment which can sometimes make it difficult for a person to feel comfortable attending face-to-face counselling in consulting rooms.
